Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Who These Terms Apply To

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the CargoFL Talents careers portal (the “Portal”), operated by CargoFL Technologies Private Limited (“CargoFL”, “we”, “us”). They apply to anyone who browses the Portal, applies for a role, uploads a CV, or takes part in an online assessment, interview round or interview arranged through it (“you”, “candidate”).

By submitting an application you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not apply through the Portal. How we handle your personal data is covered separately by our Candidate Privacy Notice, which these Terms do not replace.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Portal. You may apply for as many different roles as you like, but only once per role. An unsuccessful applicant may apply again for the same role after six months.

3. Your Account of Yourself Must Be True and Your Own

When you apply, you confirm that:

  • the email address and phone number you give are yours, and you have the right to receive messages at them;
  • the CV, work history, qualifications, achievements and other information you provide are accurate, current and not misleading;
  • the CV and any written work you submit are your own, or you have the right to submit them;
  • you are applying for yourself, not on behalf of or in the name of another person.

We may verify any of this — for example by confirming an email address before an application is accepted, asking you about a claim at interview, or checking a reference or qualification with your permission. A material misstatement, or an application made in someone else’s name, may lead to your application being declined or an offer being withdrawn at any stage, including after you have started.

4. Online Assessments and Interview Rounds

Some roles include an online assessment or a practical round (for example a timed test, a written exercise, a take-home task or a coding exercise), and some of these are proctored. Before a proctored session starts you will be told exactly what is monitored and asked to consent; the session cannot begin without it.

During any assessment or round, you agree to:

  • complete the work yourself, without another person assisting you, unless the instructions expressly allow it;
  • follow the on-screen rules for that session — for example staying in the assessment window, keeping your camera and screen share on where required, and not using a phone or second device;
  • use only the tools and resources the instructions for that round permit (some rounds expressly allow — and are designed around — the use of AI tools; others do not);
  • not copy, record, photograph, share or publish the questions, tasks, or materials, which are confidential to CargoFL;
  • not attempt to interfere with, bypass or tamper with the assessment, its timer, or its monitoring.

Breaking these rules may result in a session being ended, a submission being disregarded, or your application being declined. Automated monitoring only ever produces flags for a person on our hiring team to review; no decision to end an application is taken by software alone.

5. Work You Submit

You keep ownership of any code, writing or other work you submit as part of an assessment or round. You grant CargoFL a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, view, run, test and evaluate that work for the purpose of assessing your application, to keep it as part of your application record for as long as the Candidate Privacy Notice says we keep that record, and to compare it with other submissions to detect copied work. We will not use it in our products or publish it.

Where a round lets you use an AI assistant we provide, your exchanges with it form part of your submission and are reviewed in the same way. Do not paste personal data about other people, or confidential material belonging to a current or former employer, into any assessment.

6. Acceptable Use of the Portal

You must not:

  • attempt to gain access to any part of the Portal, or any data, that is not intentionally made available to you;
  • probe, scan, test or interfere with the Portal's security, availability or performance, or submit files or content designed to harm it;
  • use automated means (bots, scripts, scrapers) to apply, submit, or collect information from the Portal;
  • impersonate any person, or submit an application, referral or message on behalf of someone who has not asked you to;
  • send abusive, threatening or unlawful content through any form on the Portal.

We may suspend access, decline or close an application, and where appropriate refer a matter to the authorities, if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. If you find a security issue, please tell us at dpo@cargofl.com rather than exploiting it — see our security page.

7. Job Postings and Offers

A posting on the Portal is an invitation to apply, not an offer of employment. We may amend, pause, close or withdraw a role at any time, including while applications are open, and we are not obliged to fill a role, to interview any applicant, or to give reasons for a decision. Nothing on the Portal — including a status shown on your application-tracking page or an automated email — constitutes an offer of employment. An offer is only made in a written offer letter, and employment is governed by that letter and your employment contract, not by these Terms.

8. Our Content

The Portal, its design, text, logos and the assessment materials are owned by CargoFL or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use in applying. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce or redistribute them without our written permission. Job descriptions may be shared using the share links we provide.

9. Availability and Disclaimer

We aim to keep the Portal available, but it is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If a technical problem on our side prevents you completing an assessment or round, tell us using the report link on that page or email hr@cargofl.com — we will look at it and, where appropriate, arrange another attempt. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CargoFL is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Portal. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and each application records the version in force when it was submitted. A change does not affect the terms under which an application already on file was made.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
